Jay Pratt has done it again!..
This time it was an RV-6 he dubbed Buckshot that made its first flight on March 31st. He reported that the flight went well with a little heaviness on the left wing. After a bit of tweaking, all is well.
Jay hoped to have it for a while, but the right buyer popped up and it now lives in a new hangar.
But Jay is not without a project. He is now focused his Javron Super Cub project. He recently travelled to Idaho to pick up the prop and then off to Vetterman’s in South Dakota to pick up the exhaust. Most of us just have those shipped, but Jay and Carol do a little scenic camping and visiting friends while picking airplane parts.
After making his annual trip to the backcountry in Idaho and then his few weeks of volunteering in the camping area at Oshkosh, Jay plans on focusing his time on the Javron with plans to fly to Airventure in 2026.
Congratulations Jay!
We look forward to seeing the next project. You are going to need a bigger wall for all those First Flight Plaques.
