On Thursday, January 19, I picked up my RV-7 from Flying Colors of Texas in Gainesville (KGLE). I was stunned and couldn’t help but think this was NOT the airplane I built!
I dropped off the airplane on November 16. They started work right away. Brandon has built at least one RV and he has done assembly on many others in his line of work. I was impressed with his knowledge and his handling and care of the hardware that came off of my airplane.
I wanted a simple but sleek paint scheme. It was painted using Sherwin Williams JetFlex in white with black and gray stripes.
I am very happy with the guys at Flying Colors. Their communication was great and I was welcomed to visit anytime I wanted.
