Although many of us traveled to Oshkosh for the convention, we had several members fly their aircraft to Airventure and are part of the show.
Pete Miller flew in on Friday before the show and Camp Miller sprouted up next to his RV-7. Only a few yards away Jay Pratt’s tent sits proudly next to his Cessna 180, which I think is the only certified craft in the Homebuilt Camping area. Jay helps organize the camping area before the campers arrive, a job that he has done for many years.
About 50 yards to the East, David Brown secured his camp next to his RV-10. Also in that same area is Joe Migis and his recently painted and polished RV-14A. With all the area that the show consists of, four of our members are in the same corner of the field.
